A Ceiling Collapse ...

A Property Management company in Brent called us to take care of one of the many homes that they manage. The tenant called and said the ceiling “just collapsed”. Our team of restoration professionails arrived onsite within an hour of being called and determined that the ceiling collapse was not caused by a water loss but from faulty construction.

The ceiling had several layers of sheetrock supported only by nails, not screws. The ceiling gave way from fatigue, falling into the dining room and kitchen. We cleaned the affected areas and patched the ceiling with plastic so that the customer wouldn’t loose A/C to the attic. We contacted the property management company and provided them with ample pictures of the loss so that they could address the issue with the insurance adjuster. Our team is available to meet with the insurance adjuster to discus options on installing a new ceiling.
