Storm Damage – Pensacola House
Storm damage occurred at this Pensacola house when a powerful thunderstorm carrying high winds blew a tree onto the roof of the house. The tree created a large gash in the roof which allowed a significant amount of rainwater to enter the interior of the home. The attic insulation and the drywall ceiling became water logged. When the weight of the rainwater drenched ceiling and insulation became too great, the ceiling collapsed to the floor. SERVPRO of West Pensacola was called in to remove the tree and place tarps on the roof. Once the storm subsided, we were asked to mitigate the entire storm damage to the house.
