The Pensacola area is a place where many people come to have fun and enjoy the beaches. A big part of that fun includes enjoy the local restaurants and seafood. SERVPRO of West Pensacola has made a better effort to serve our local restaurants by helping to take care of their different cleaning needs, not only through the Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned program, which played a role in helping the food service industry navigate through the shutdowns and other difficulties of staying open through the pandemic. We also have worked on better serving the restaurants by deep cleaning the industrial kitchen equipment. Our Production Manager took the time and classes to get certified in Commercial Hood and Exhaust cleaning, meeting a demand in our community, where there is a shortage of qualified hood cleaners available. This gives us a a great in with restaurant owners and managers, to start by serving them in a direct cleaning need but also being able to establish a working relationship, that has put us in place to work with them on fire, water and storm losses. Deep cleaning kitchen equipment is often labor intensive, and not the most profitable type of job, but the relationships and residual work that comes from this service makes all the more worthwhile.
